This Is the One is the upcoming album by Japanese-American pop singer Hikaru Utada. This will be Utada's third English language album and her eighth studio album overall. The album was originally set to be released in Japan on March 4, 2009; however, the album was pushed back to March 14, 2009. The album will be released on March 24, 2009 in the United States. Utada, however, has questioned her and Island Records' ability to release it as early as has been announced
